Rental Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility and documents

• Minimum rental age is 18. Drivers aged 18–21 inclusive pay a young-driver fee of OMR 25 per booking.
• Every driver must present an original valid driving licence and valid passport or identification document at collection.
• Clear document copies may be requested before arrival. An international driving permit may be required depending on the issuing country and insurance conditions.
• Only drivers named in the rental agreement may drive the vehicle.

2. Rates, payment and confirmation

• Displayed and confirmed rates include VAT.
• A 10% advance payment confirms the booking. It is deducted fully from the rental total and is not an additional fee.
• The remaining 90% is payable at vehicle collection.
• Accepted methods may include cash, credit or debit card, bank transfer, PayPal and Binance, as agreed before collection.

3. Refundable security deposit

• Standard vehicles require no deposit from a driver holding a valid Omani driving licence.
• Without an Omani licence, a refundable OMR 60 deposit is held for possible traffic fines.
• Luxury vehicles require a refundable OMR 200 deposit.
• Deposits are released within 30 days after return, less confirmed fines, damage, missing items or other outstanding charges.

4. Vehicle category and substitution

• A booking confirms a vehicle category, not a specific model, colour or brand unless confirmed in writing. Website images are illustrative.
• If the confirmed vehicle becomes unavailable, we may provide an equivalent or higher category at no additional rental charge.
• If no suitable alternative is available, all amounts paid will be refunded. Refusal of a suitable equivalent or free upgrade is treated as customer cancellation.

5. Mileage

• The standard allowance is 200 km per rental day.
• Economy, sedan and SUV excess mileage: OMR 0.050 per km.
• 4x4 and 7-seater excess mileage: OMR 0.100 per km.
• Luxury vehicles are generally supplied with unlimited mileage; the confirmed quotation states the final allowance.

6. Fuel

Fuel is supplied and returned on a same-to-same basis. A shortage is charged at the actual difference only, without an additional service fee. Unused excess fuel is not refundable.

7. Delivery, collection and return

• Rentals of 3 days or more include free delivery and collection within Muscat and at Muscat International Airport.
• For shorter rentals, the mobile handover location and any delivery charge are confirmed in the written quotation.
• Airport handover uses Meet & Greet, normally at Gate C in the Arrivals Area. Final representative and meeting details are shared before arrival.
• The vehicle must never be left unattended at return. Responsibility continues until the assigned representative receives and inspects it.

8. Late return

• One hour is allowed without charge.
• After the grace period: economy and sedan OMR 1/hour; SUV OMR 1.5/hour; 4x4 and 7-seater OMR 3/hour; luxury OMR 5/hour.
• At 6 hours of delay, one full additional rental day is charged instead of hourly charges.

9. Extension, early return and no-show

• Extensions require prior approval and payment before the original return time, subject to availability.
• No refund is due for unused days after early return.
• Failure to attend without notice is treated as customer cancellation. A verified flight delay is not a no-show when flight details and updates are supplied promptly.

10. Accidents, damage and prohibited use

• We must be informed immediately and an official police report is mandatory for every accident. Without it, the customer may be liable for the full loss.
• Unauthorised drivers, racing, driving under the influence, deliberate misuse and use outside the agreed territory are prohibited and may void coverage.
• Off-road use is prohibited unless the vehicle and written agreement specifically permit it.
• Lost keys or documents, and tyres damaged through misuse, are charged at actual repair or replacement cost.
• Pets are not permitted. Smoking incurs an OMR 25 cleaning charge.

11. Fines and roadside assistance

• The customer pays the actual value of traffic fines incurred during the rental; no separate administration fee is added.
• Roadside assistance within Muscat is included. Assistance outside Muscat costs OMR 50 per request.
• Mechanical faults not caused by misuse remain our responsibility. Fuel delivery, lost keys and damage caused by the customer are charged at actual cost.

12. Cross-border travel

• Cross-border travel is permitted to the UAE only with prior written approval and issued insurance documents.
• UAE insurance costs OMR 39 per approved booking and covers the confirmed rental period.
• Travel to any other country is not permitted.
